Designer

Design is at the heart of what we do. You’ll be in charge of the user experience at Remix, helping to create a compelling simple app used by cities across the world to plan great transit. Our company was founded by designers (Sam and Tiffany) and we take this stuff very seriously.

You’d be a good fit if:

You have experience creating and maintaining products with real-world users.
 Your visual design is strong and opinionated.
 You’ve worked closely with engineers to get great design out the door.

 You should be comfortable making detailed graphics and figuring out how an application should work and feel.

Product Marketer

We’re looking for someone to lead product marketing. Every day, you’ll talk to a new city in the world and understand how they are using Remix. You’ll take that conversation and turn it into key messages, webinars, videos, and blog posts. If you want to work directly with customers and be the person who crafts a company’s story, this a role for you.

You’d be a good fit if:

You know how to interview customers
You can turn conversations into key messages + an ROI story
You know how to write compelling short-form copy
 You're familiar with video case studies
 You have a strong instincts about design

What you will do:

Talk to our customers to understand how Remix is being used to redesign transit in 100+ cities
Distill your conversations into key messages, quotes, and ROI
Write brief case studies and video testimonials of our customers
 Make sure our message resonates with our customers at all times

Director of Strategic Accounts

In a year and a half, Remix is being used by 100+ cities around the world. We want to be the default planning platform used by all transit systems. You're in charge of getting us there. Remix’s software is one of a kind.  We save agencies 90%+ in productivity.  According to a customer: "Imagine being able to visually demonstrate how the change of bus routes would affect population coverage and at the same time show the financial cost – all at the click of a mouse. With Remix, people see trade-offs between planning decisions in seconds, in a way that is easy to understand." –Anthony Cross, Public Transport Network Manager, Auckland Transport

You should have experience in understanding a 4–6 month sales process that spans multiple people and departments with a proven track record consistently being over-quota.  It is important to note that customer success is crucial for our company’s success.  Identifying what success means to the customer in the pre-sales process and driving towards attaining that once they have signed is our #1 priority.
You’d be a good fit if you:

have ~5 years of experience in SaaS sales (B2B / B2G), closing six-figure deals consistently in recent years
use a consultative sales process that focuses on the needs of the client
care about cities and the way they are planned and built
are low-ego, empathetic, adaptable, and incredibly ambitious
 are skilled at multi-tasking and managing multiple threads in parallel while valuing details
 love experimenting to figure out the best process, and like to travel both domestic and internationally

What you will do:

educate, manage, and build relationships with a wide range of local government leaders in large cities
lead deals from initial engagement to close, traveling when needed — starting in North America, with an eye towards strategic global expansion
work closely with the Success team to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers
 achieve and exceed revenue goals

 understand that successful client onboarding is imperative - the sale is not over at the signature

What you will do:

pick up the phone every day and talk to a dozen different cities — listen and understand what challenges planners face when doing their work
convince local governments to approach old problems in new ways, while leading deals from initial engagement to close
attend conferences and other events to share knowledge, meet transit leaders
 work closely with the Success team to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers

Transportation Planner

We’re looking for skilled transportation planners who are excited to work directly with customers. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of transit technology, helping 100+ cities create world-class public transit.

You’d be a good fit if:

You’ve worked at, or directly with, transit agencies
You've been involved with developing a COA, TDP, or SRTP
You love working directly with people to help them create great transit
You have extremely strong communication and presentation skills

Customer Success Manager

We’re looking for someone to work closely with transit agencies around the United States and ensure their success using Remix. This includes training our new users, ensuring they have every opportunity to plan better transit, constant problem solving, and helping to guide our product roadmap. You’ll execute our success strategy with new and existing customers, and scale our team to accommodate a fast-growing base of Remix users. 

Customer success requires a variety of skills: an inclination for customer service, a relentless desire to solve problems, the ability to engage others when teaching, and empathy with our users.

You’d be a good fit if:

You’ve delivered consultant or technology products or projects to a public agency
You can teach technical content comfortably, to large and small groups
You hear problems from others and have a burning desire to solve them
You can manage customer expectations when necessary
You have a fascination with communities of all sizes: large and small, rural and urban
You are a strong presenter, and are energized by spending the day speaking and listening to others
You have experience working with public transit agencies

What you’ll do:

Report to the Director of Customer Success to help guide the development and execution of our team’s overall success strategy
Be our primary point of contact for a portion of the Remix customer community
Continually teach, advise, and challenge our customers to ensure their success
Work closely with our growth team to win customer renewals
Ensure our product roadmap aligns with the needs of smaller transit agencies
Support other aspects of the customer experience such as training content, newsletter, and on-site events
